Connection Information

If you're interested in playing on one of our servers, and don't know how to set up your client, please follow the guide below.

Installation and Patches

The TenaciousGaming servers require you to World of Warcraft with patch 3.3.2 installed. The Wrath of the Lich King expansion is not required, but highly recommended if you want to enjoy all aspects of the game.
If you want to play without Wrath of the Lich King, you have to disable the expansion in your account manager. If you need help with installing, downloading or patching up World of Warcraft, please check this topic on the forums.

After installing and patching WoW, be sure to disable automatic patching. If you don't do so your World of Warcraft installation will patch up to the latest patch used on retail (Blizzard's servers), and you will not be able to play on the TenaciousGaming servers.
Instructions on how to disable automatic patching can be found in the guide linked above.

Registration

To be able to play on TenaciousGaming you will need to register an account. You can do so on this page.

Note: Account registration and forum registration are separate. If you already registered a forum account, you will still need to create an account on the servers to be able to play.
Note: It can take up to 15 minutes until you are able to log in to the servers.

Connecting

To be able to play on TenaciousGaming, you will have to configure your WoW installation to connect to our servers:

  • Click the "My Computer" icon in your start menu or on your desktop.
  • Navigate to the directory you've installed World of Warcraft in (usually C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft).
  • Go to the data folder.
  • Inside the data folder you'll see an other folder with your WoW's language (usually enUS or enGB) as the name. Enter that folder.
  • Edit the file called "realmlist.wtf". You can use a program like notepad to edit it.
  • Delete everything in the file and add:
    set realmlist logon.tenaciousgaming.com
  • Save the file and close it, you should now be able to log in to the server.

Congratulations!

You have now successfully set up your World of Warcraft to connect to the TenaciousGaming servers.
