Best Game Ever! Scariest, Wildest, Graphics Perfection By J.J. Kilroy Not only is this the scariest game I have ever played, it might also be the most amazing game I have every played. Its got the whole deal: playability, variety, environment, challenge, graphics, acting (believe it or not), and scare-factor. This game continued to surprise and scare me until the last level, which was highly creative, but a little thematically incongruent with the rest of the game, but brilliant design and graphics, all the same. The graphics detail continually amazes me, and this game is about 6 years old! Very interesting plot, which almost unpredictable. This game is scary as hell! This game also scores high in the “get evil” category. Towards the end, your character is running around with a magic sythe that can decapitate two or three monsters at once, and an attack spell that summons a shrieking flaming skull from out of the ground, and when released, the skull laughs hysterically as it shoots across the room and explodes on contact. This game is fairly nuts/distrubed/twisted/bent/”completely sideways”.

A Classic that Overpowers its Next gen Siblings By George C. Patterson III Clive Barker’s Undying is the perfect example of how a good story could be told through a first person shooter. Granted this title is about 10 years old, but it’s done so well that it’s as enjoyable if not better than some of the games created these days. It harkens to an age where EA games actually cared about the products that they put out. Proof is in the pudding with Clive barker’s Jericho. Though it is a decent game and has all the Next Gen bells and whistles, its predecessor has leaps and bounds over it in enjoyable game play as well as storytelling. In conclusion Clive Barker’s Undying is a page that many game designers should take when creating current titles.
